Staten Island Technical High School

Staten Island Technical High School, located in Stated Island, NY, is the only four-year career academy among New York City’s specialized high schools. The school was established in 1988 and serves students from Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Queens. The school has an excellent reputation for its quality programs in engineering and related fields. The school recently completed construction on a new campus building after receiving funds for the project through Lehman Brothers.

The school is currently ranked the 8th best public high school in New York City by US news.

Staten Island Technical High School is a very good place for students interested in math and technology. It also has an excellent robotics team that competes with other high schools within New York State.

The student body at Staten Island Technical High School is ethnically mixed. About half of the students are black or Hispanic. The rest of the population consists of Asian Americans, white students, and students who decline to state their ethnicity.
